Frickley Park International Horse Trials, Regional Championships and The UVEX Frickley Cup

14th -17th August 2025

Run by a volunteer committee, we aim to provide competitors with the best eventing experience possible, with all proceeds being invested back into our courses, and any surplus being donated to charity. 

The venue is generously provided by the Warde-Aldam family, who are members of the organising committee.  Dressage and show jumping takes place in the arenas in front of Frickley Hall. 

Our XC courses are renowned for providing competitors with a true riding experience, being of full length and always presented to the highest standards.

Frickley Horse Trials is a parkland event run across old turf, incorporating three large grass arenas, with XC courses covering a variety of terrain and incorporating two large water complexes. 

The facility is entirely private and only made available for British Eventing from Grassroots to International and including the UVEX Frickley Cup – a long format three day event piloted for the first time last year for BE90 and BE100 competitors.  The pilot was such a great success such that this year an additional BE80 class has been added!
